Black forest chocolate cake cooked in fry pan without oven.
For Chocolate Cake
1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Instant Coffee
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup White Sugar
1 cup + 2 tbsp Water
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1 Large Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Chilled Whipping Cream
4 tbsp Icing Sugar
To make chocolate cake..
Combine all dry ingredients and sift.
Add wet ingredients, mix well then divide into 3.
Grease 8″ fry pan with vegetable oil.
Pour the cake batter and cook for 10 to 12 minutes over medium low heat.
Trim the edges. Leave to cool.
To make frosting…
Combine whipping cream and icing sugar.
Whip until stiff peak.
Brush cherry syrup on top of each cake and apply whipped cream frosting.
Put chocolate shards on the sides of the cake.
Decorate with the remaining whipped cream and cherries.
Chill before serving.
