Amici Wood Fired Brick Oven Pizzeria Don Bosco Makati by

Amici Wood Fired Brick Oven Pizzeria Don Bosco Makati. We like Amici for their inexpensive and scrumptious wood fired oven pizza. Traditional Neapolitan pizzas are cooked by a wood fired oven. They infuse a smoky flavor and make the crust extra crunchy. Did you know that each branch of Amici on average consumes 20-30 kilograms of wood per day? Normally oak is the preferred bark, but since this is not common in the Philippines, Amici uses substitutes such as palm and mango.

Chorizo e Spinaci is our favorite pizza at Amici and the pizzaiolo meticulously rotated our pizza with his trusty pizza peel for equal charring around the edges.. Large enough for two people and best enjoyed with a dollop of extra virgin olive oil, chili flakes and Tabasco! Also try their Portobello Mushroom and Artichoke Flatbread Pizza which has a thinner crispier crust. Buon Appetito!

For dessert, Caramia serves a decent selection of gelato and gelato cakes.
